Pres. Hinckley Passes Away

At the age of 97, our dear Prophet, Pres. Gordon B. Hinckley, passed away tonight at 7pm due to old age. What an amazing life! And what an amazing reunion that will be with his sweet wife, Marjorie!

I know that President Gordon B. Hinckley is a prophet in these latter days. The gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored on this Earth today. God hears and answers our prayers, but it is also through prophets that the Lord speaks and guides his people. Today is no different than in the days of Adam, Abraham and Moses. We have prophets today that guide us and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to all nations. It was the "The Family: A Proclamation to The World" that Pres. Hinckley helped author along with the entire 1st Presidency and Quorum of Twelve Apostles. It was a proclamation delivered in 1995 to the entire world. For those of you who are not aware of it's contents, please read it. It discusses the sanctity of marriage and family.

President Hinckley will be missed, but the Lord's work goes on! "God Be With You 'Til We Meet Again!"
